Providing HOPE for Women and their Children

As DEC 2nd-Giving Tuesday approaches, I want to take a moment to thank you. Your faithful prayers and generous support have helped us offer hope and renewal to women emerging from addiction and life-controlling issues. We provide a safe, nurturing home that empowers them to rebuild their lives.

Our impact in their lives, extends far beyond the walls of our residence and the 6-8 month program we offer; our graduates acquire essential life skills that may have been lost or never taught during their struggles. We equip them with the tools to cook, sew, manage their finances, and create budgets. We also ensure they have transportation to GED classes, setting the stage for stable employment, and once they secure jobs, we assist with their daily commutes until they can obtain a driver’s license or a vehicle of their own.

Our ultimate goal is to guide them toward independent living, fostering their growth as contributing members of our community.

Over the years, Phyllis and Bill have often found themselves settling in for the evening, only to receive a call from an organization in search of a safe haven for a woman in need. Without hesitation, they drive to transport these women, their belongings, and sometimes with their children, emphasizing the critical need for reliable transportation at our home.

Giving Tuesday Vehicle Campaign

As we expand our services, we urgently need a reliable, used 7-9 passenger van to facilitate transportation for our remarkable
women to attend their appointments, classes, commute to work, and share their inspiring stories at local churches and community events, a vital component of our 3-phase program.

Your support in our Giving Tuesday campaign is crucial, whether your gift is fifty dollars, one thousand dollars, or any amount
you feel led to contribute. We recognize the financial challenges many are facing right now, yet every donation, regardless of
size, plays a fundamental role in changing the lives of these courageous women as they work to reconstruct their lives.

Early donations are being accepted, and each contribution made before December 2nd will count towards our ambitious goal
of twenty thousand dollars to secure this essential vehicle through Giving Tuesday.

Since January 2024, we have provided refuge for 111 women and 61 children, illustrating the profound ripple effects of our work as it transforms not only individual lives but also the very fabric of families, reuniting them and restoring hope.

In the last year, four of our recent graduates have made these achievements:

A mom with 2 teenagers, acquired a job, an apartment and her eldest daughter has just finished LNA Training.

A very recent graduate has moved and is planning to attend Bible college in January.

A graduate reunited with her husband.

A graduate is now our Administrative Assistant at House Of Hope NH and has joined our Board of Directors, as Board Secretary.

With sincere gratitude,

Phyllis Phelps
